Restoration Hardware, Paris
The Problem
Signal Solutions has partnered with RH, Restoration Hardware, on multiple projects across Europe to deliver reliable mobile connectivity in some of their most prestigious locations. To date, we have successfully completed installations in Paris, Düsseldorf, Brussels, Madrid and Munich, with further projects scheduled in Milan, and London.
This case study focuses on our most recent installation at RH Paris, where we were tasked with overcoming significant connectivity challenges in a busy, multi-trade construction environment.
RH Paris is a flagship site located in the heart of the city. As with many large European buildings, the structure posed serious challenges for mobile signal reception. Staff and contractors were experiencing dropped calls, poor data speeds, and inconsistent coverage across all major networks.
RH required a solution that would:
Deliver strong, reliable mobile coverage across the entire site.
Support all major European mobile networks.
Meet legal requirements in Europe.
Provide a scalable system that could grow with the building’s needs.
Installation Challenges
This project presented unique logistical and on-site challenges:
Travel and logistics: Transporting specialist tools and equipment to Paris required additional planning and coordination.
Busy construction environment: The building was still under development, with multiple trades working simultaneously. This meant our team had to carefully coordinate with other contractors to ensure safe and efficient installation.
Health and safety requirements: Working in a live construction site required detailed Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), as well as close adherence to site safety protocols.
Our Solution
To address these challenges, we deployed the Nextivity CEL-FI QUATRA 4000e, part of our Amplifi-Qx Digital Solution. This system was chosen for its ability to deliver enterprise-grade mobile coverage across multiple carriers, while remaining flexible and scalable for future needs.
The installation included:
Network Unit - The central hub connecting to the external mobile network.
Coverage Units (8) – Strategically placed throughout the building to eliminate 'dead zones'.
Internal Antennas (35) – Discreetly installed to provide seamless coverage across all floors without ruining the aesthetics of the building.
External Antennas (4) – Mounted to capture the strongest available signals from nearby cell towers.
Fibre Hub - Installed to extend the system’s reach and provide additional capacity, ensuring that the solution could scale with RH Paris as the building becomes fully operational.
Despite the challenges of a live construction site, our engineers completed the installation within the agreed timeframe, working closely with RH’s project managers and other contractors to minimise disruption.
The Results
The outcome was a significant improvement in mobile coverage across the entire RH Paris site. Staff, contractors, and visitors now benefit from:
Reliable voice calls with no dropouts.
Consistent data speeds across all major European networks.
Future-ready infrastructure that can scale as RH expands operations.
This successful installation not only solved RH Paris’s immediate connectivity issues but also reinforced our ability to deliver complex projects across Europe. With further installations scheduled in Milan and London, our partnership with RH continues to grow, supporting their expansion with world-class mobile signal solutions.
