Bringing the Team Together: A Day at Signal Solutions

Bringing the Team Together: A Day at Signal Solutions

Every now and then, it’s good to step away from day-to-day projects and spend some time together as a team. Recently, we did exactly that with a Signal Solutions team day which gave us a chance to reflect, look ahead, and have a bit of fun. (This was just before Christmas hence the Xmas jumpers!)

We kicked things off with Mark walking everyone through the agenda for the day. It set the tone nicely and gave us a clear idea of what we wanted to get out of it - a mix of updates, discussion, and collaboration!

Adam then took us through our Signal Solutions core values and shared some of our wider aims as we head into 2026. It was a good opportunity to take a step back and remind ourselves why we do what we do, and where we’re heading as a business.

We believe the world is a more productive, efficient, safer, and happier place when we can all communicate seamlessly with one another. We provide in-building mobile signal boosting solutions for public & private cellular so that your colleagues, clients, visitors and machines can communicate seamlessly at your venues.

Sara, our Accounts Controller, also joined us via teams as she works with us remotely from North Wales!

We were also joined by Ben Davies and Colin Abrey, who spent the day with us. Ben gave a bit of background on himself and his role at RWL, which was great context for the wider partnership and how everything fits together. It’s always useful putting faces to names and having those conversations in person!

The final discussion of the day was led by John, who talked us through some key hub updates. There are a few exciting developments lined up for the rest of 2026, so this session definitely gave everyone plenty to look forward to.

And then, of course, we wrapped things up with the Crimpolympics!!!

Teams were carefully selected by Mark, pairing:

  • Adam & Jack

  • Simon & Ben

  • Stewart & Colin

  • John & Isobel

Simon and Ben took the win for the quickest crimp, while John and Isobel accepted the award for best attempt... mostly for enthusiasm, as the task itself didn’t quite make it to completion 😳

All in all, it was a great day. A good balance of looking ahead, sharing ideas, and reminding ourselves that behind the projects, proposals, and installs, there’s a team of people working together. And a bit of healthy competition never hurts either!
